I want to thank Dr. Yadranko Ducic for serving as guest editor for this issue of Seminars in Plastic Surgery on “Complications and Secondary Management in Head and Neck Reconstructive Surgery.” We also appreciate the efforts made by each outstanding author for contributing to this issue.

Dr. Ducic is a facial plastic surgeon in Dallas and Fort Worth. He serves as director for the Skullbase Program at Baylor All Saints Medical Center in Fort Worth. He is co-director of the Face Transplant Program at the Methodist Hospital in Dallas. He received his medical degree from University of Ottawa Faculty of Medicine and has been in practice for more than 20 years. He is board certified in both Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.

He has published over 260 articles in the fields of cosmetic surgery and reconstructive surgery, including rhinoplasty, chin augmentation, face lift, lip augmentation, laser resurfacing, otoplasty, maxillofacial trauma, and skull base surgery.

Dr. Ducic has four children Aleksa, Luka, Nikola, and Nadia and is happily married to KaTrina. He enjoys spending time with his family, and loves sports and travel.
