Comparison of WT and Mutated Structures for FANCF: WT: Gold; Mutant 1: Red (Gly370Asp). This protein is part of the Fanconi anemia complementation group (FANC). The members of the Fanconi anemia complementation group do not share sequence similarity; they are related by their assembly into a common nuclear protein complex. This gene encodes the protein for complementation group F. The mutations do not affect the overall structure of the protein in a substantial way, except for some small changes in the exposed regions. While the structure of the mutant predicts the mutant residue in a different place, it does not appear that there is any change in secondary structure or accessibility.
