In the article “Neurons in the Intermediate Reticular Nucleus Coordinate Postinspiratory Activity, Swallowing, and Respiratory-Sympathetic Coupling in the Rat,” by Rahat Ul Ain Summan Toor, Qi-Jian Sun, Natasha N. Kumar, Sheng Le, Cara M. Hildreth, Jacqueline K. Phillips, and Simon McMullan, which appeared in pages 9757–9766 of the December 4, 2019 issue, there is an error in the Material and Methods on page 9759 (left column: Data analysis and experimental protocols). The original text stated that rSNA (renal sympathetic nerve activity) neurograms were smoothed using a 100 ms time constant. The corrected text is as follows: “Neurograms were rectified and smoothed (τ = 50 ms).” The authors apologize for this oversight; the changes do not affect the figures or results of the manuscript or its conclusions. The online version has been updated.
