In an article 1 titled “A Japanese lung cancer registry study on demographics and treatment modalities in medically treated patients” by Ikuo Sekine, Yasushi Shintani, Takehito Shukuya, Koichi Takayama, Akira Inoue, Isamu Okamoto, Katsuyuki Kiura, Kazuhisa Takahashi, Hirotoshi Dosaka‐Akita, Yuichi Takiguchi, Etsuo Miyaoka, Meinoshin Okumura, Ichiro Yoshino, some data in the Results section and Figure 1 are to be corrected.

RESULTS

The percentage of M factors for three years survival should be corrected in the third sentence under fourth paragraph of the result section. The correct sentence should read as follows:

M‐factor also affected significantly on survival; 3‐year survival was 35.0%, 23.1%, and 15.5% for M0, M1a, and M1b, respectively.
