AAWC
The Association for the Advancement of Wound Care (AAWC) recognises the generous support of its 2013 corporate sponsors and announces open enrollment for the 2014 sponsorship program. Corporate support is paramount to sustaining the association's programs and activities. This year's AAWC Corporate Sponsors include: 3M Skin and Wound Care, KCI Medical, Smith & Nephew, Shire, Healthpoint Biotherapeutics, and Molnlycke Health Care US LLC.
Representatives from the sponsoring corporations and the AAWC Board of Directors constitute the AAWC Corporate Advisory Panel (CAP). The CAP allows close interaction with AAWC officers as well as other key wound care industry leaders who meet to collaborate on mutual concerns and issues including education, public awareness and government/regulatory affairs. As stakeholders with the common purpose of helping patients, the panel also focuses on elevating standards of wound care practice in developing nations worldwide.
AAWC reciprocates its dedication to the wound care industry with free seminars for industry representatives. AAWC offers unbiased information and support, when appropriate, on matters of government and regulatory affairs. Corporate support is the AAWC's second highest revenue source (second to membership dues). Industry support is extremely important, and every dollar goes a very long way to sustain valuable programs and services for the wound care community.
The Association's 2014 sponsorship campaign is underway. Please contact AAWC by email at kstrauss@aawconline.org or by calling 800.237.7285, extension 113 for more information and/or to become a sponsor. Many sponsorship benefits apply.
