Results are the mean of three different experiments. +: clear lysis, −: no effect, H: turbid ring around lysis (halo), H: turbid spot without lysis. The phage efficiency was classified as highly productive (efficiency of plating (EOP) ≥ 0.5), moderately productive (0.1 ≤ EOP < 0.5), low productive (0.001 < EOP < 0.1), or inefficient (EOP ≤ 0.001).
