Two Incomplete Author Names

In the Original Investigation entitled “Association of Rare CYP39A1 Variants With Exfoliation Syndrome Involving the Anterior Chamber of the Eye,”¹ published in the February 23, 2021, issue of JAMA, there were 2 incomplete author names listed for the Genetics of Exfoliation Syndrome Partnership. At the end of the article, under “Authors for the Genetics of Exfoliation Syndrome Partnership,” the name “Andrés F. V. Cueto, MD, PhD” should have been “Andrés Fernández-Vega Cueto, MD, PhD” and “Luis F. V. Cueto, MD, PhD” should have been “Luis Fernández-Vega Cueto, MD, PhD.” The 2 names also should be revised under “Affiliations of Authors for the Genetics of Exfoliation Syndrome Partnership”: “A. F. V. Cueto” should have been “A. Fernández-Vega Cueto” and “L. F. V. Cueto” should have been “L. Fernández-Vega Cueto” for the “Fernández-Vega University Institute and Foundation of Ophthalmological Research, University of Oviedo, Oviedo, Spain” and the “Fernández-Vega Ophthalmological Institute, Oviedo, Spain.” In the Author Contributions section, all mentions of “A. Cueto” should have been “A. Fernández-Vega Cueto” and all mentions of “L. Cueto” should have been “L. Fernández-Vega Cueto.” This article was corrected online.
