Amy K. Patel, MD, is Missouri Medicine’s new Radiology Editorial Board member for the Journal. She is a Breast Radiologist, Medical Director, Liberty Hospital Women’s Imaging, and Assistant Professor of Radiology at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine, Kansas City, Missouri. She is also the Associate Editor of Digital Media for the Journal of the American College of Radiology.

She replaces John H. Niemeyer, MD, who has served the Missouri Medicine Editorial Board since 2007. With our thanks, Dr. Niemeyer is receiving the Missouri Medicine Distinguished Service Award for his 14 years of dedicated service. He practices radiology at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri.

Robert Corder, MD, an OB/ GYN in St. Joseph, received the President’s Silver Medal Volunteer Service Award at the Kirby Puckett Center there. Staff at the center said Dr. Corder’s dedication to rehabilitating lives during the pandemic made him worthy of the honor.

Inderjit Singh, MD, an Internal Medicine physician in St. Louis, recently jointed the National Kidney Foundation Serving Eastern Missouri, Metro East, and Arkansas Advisory Board. Dr. Singh currently serves as President of Gateway Nephrology.

Jennifer Page, MD, was recently installed as the St. Louis Metropolitan Medical Society President. She is a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialist and Medical Director of Acute Rehabilitation at Mercy Hospital South.

The following physicians were installed as officers to serve with Dr. Page in 2021: Erin Gardner, MD, president-elect; Mark Gunby, DO, vice president; Robert A. Brennan, Jr., MD, secretary-treasurer; and Jason K. Skyles, MD, immediate past president.

Four physicians were installed as Councilors serving three year terms from 2021 through 2023: Sara Hawatmeh, MD; Otha Myles, MD; David Niebruegge, MD; and Farheen Raja, MD.
