In the original article, it was observed that the FTIR and XRD spectra of the samples GO/HAP/CS-1, GO/HAP/CS-2, and GO/HAP/CS-3 had similar patterns. Since then, the authors have recharacterized the samples (a) GO/HAP/CS-1, (b) GO/HAP/CS-2, and (c) GO/HAP/CS-3. The variation of CS concentration, the intensity of the C=O stretching vibration of −NHCO, and the N–H bending of −NH2 were increased at 1682 and 1498 cm–1, and other peaks are retained (Figure 1). Similarly, the crystalline nature of the XRD pattern slightly increases at the 2θ value of 25° with an increase of the CS concentration in GO/HAP/CS composites (Figure 2).
Figure 1.

FTIR spectra of (A) (a) GO/HAP/CS-1, (b) GO/HAP/CS-2, and (c) GO/HAP/CS-3. (B,C) Zoomed-in FTIR region with wavenumbers 1200–1800 and 3200–3800 cm–1.
Figure 2.

(A) XRD spectra of (a) GO/HAP/CS-1, (b) GO/HAP/CS-2, and (c) GO/HAP/CS-3. (B) Zoomed-in spectra of composites between 20 and 40°.
The figure changes do not affect the overall conclusion of the article.
