To the Editor:
The past twelve months has posed significant challenges for those working in the area of infection prevention and control. One of the challenges has been keeping on top of the ever changing literature with regards to COVID-19. In early 2020, a rapid review panel for COVID-19 related articles submitted to Infection, Disease and Health was established. The panel ceased towards the end of 2020 as COVID-19 became more ‘normal business’. I would like to take this opportunity to thank those involved in the rapid review panel. Like many, they too were busy with everyday business, but found the time to assist in reviewing COVD-D19 articles in a rapid fashion. In turn, this benefited the wider profession by providing timely publications. COVID-19 related articles published by Infection, Disease and Health during 2020 were also made freely available and not behind a subscription barrier. To aid readers of the journal, I have listed COVID-19 papers we have published below.
