In “Human Challenge Studies Are Unlikely to Accelerate Coronavirus Vaccine Licensure due to Ethical and Practical Issues” by Spinola et al. [J Infect Dis. 2020 Nov 1;222(9):1572–1574], the corrected sentence noting the mortality rates calculated for patients with Covid-19 should read “In Indiana, 5% to 11.5% of 20–49 years with positive SARS-CoV-2 PCR tests required hospitalization; their average length of stay ranged from 13.7 to 19.7 days, and their mortality rates ranged from 1.7% to 5.6% (not 0.2% to 1.9%).” The correct percentages in the table should be 1.7%, 3.1% and 5.6%, not 0.2%, 0.7% and 1.9%.
