Jansen CHJR, Kleinrouweler CE, Kastelein AW, Ruiter L, van Leeuwen E, Mol BW, Pajkrt E. Follow‐up ultrasound in second‐trimester low‐positioned anterior and posterior placentae: prospective cohort study. Ultrasound Obstet Gynecol 2020; 56: 725–731.

In the Abstract and Table 2 of the above article, the relative risk values for the association of previous Cesarean delivery and second‐trimester side of the placenta and type of placental location with abnormal placental location in the third trimester are incorrect. The correct relative risk values are as follows:

  • previous Cesarean delivery vs no previous Cesarean delivery: 3.35 (95% CI, 1.86–6.02);

  • second‐trimester posterior vs anterior placental side: 2.33 (95% CI, 1.17–4.62);

  • second‐trimester placenta previa vs low‐lying placenta: 14.44 (95% CI, 7.51–27.75).
