Died of myeloma and heart disease Feb. 22, 2001, aged 54; survived by his partner, Kathy Pritchard, and 2 sons.

Died Feb. 24, 2001, aged 84; survived by his wife, Friedl, and 3 daughters.

Constantinidis, Peter N., Kingston, Ont.; Alexandria University (Egypt), 1957; internal medicine/public health; FRCPC; former medical consultant, Health Canada; medical officer of health, Winnipeg; director, Public Service Health Clinic, Ottawa; medical attaché, Canadian embassies in Rome, Beirut, Athens and Paris; associate professor, University of Manitoba. Died Feb. 25, 2001, aged 68; survived by his wife, Stella, and 2 children.

Darche, Jean-Henri, Trois-Rivières (Qué.); Université McGill, 1939; chirurgie générale; ancien chef du département de chirurgie de l'Hôpital Jean Talon; membre émérite de l'AMC. Décédé le 26 janvier 2001, à l'âge de 89 ans.

Died Mar. 1, 2001, aged 85; survived by his wife, Jo, and 2 sons.

Grégoire, Marcel, Montréal (Qué.); Université Laval, 1961; physiatrie; ancien membre du personnel des centres hospitaliers de Verdun, Lachine et St-Luc et des cliniques Dorchester et Côte-des-Neiges. Décédé du cancer le 6 avril 2001, à l'âge de 67 ans; laisse son épouse, Pierrette Gagnon, et trois enfants. La notice nécrologique du Dr Grégoire affirmait: «Il a été un médecin humain, dévoué et généreux de son temps. Il a touché le cœur et la vie de tous ceux qui ont croisé son chemin et son absence sera vivement ressentie.»

Died Feb. 17, 2001, aged 77; survived by 3 children. His obituary stated: “He was forgiven for his crowded waiting rooms simply because he often became involved with his patients' stories.”

Imrie, Robert J., Etobicoke, Ont.; University of Toronto, 1950; pediatrics; AMCAA, FRCPC; former chief, Department of Pediatrics, and staff, Etobicoke General Hospital; clinical instructor, University of Toronto. Died Feb. 24, 2001, aged 76.

Laurent, Max, Brossard (Qué.); Université de Lausanne (Suisse), 1960; chirurgie générale; FRCSC; ancien membre du personnel de la clinique médicale d'Iberville. Décédé le 17 février 2001, à l'âge de 68 ans.
