Retraction of “Hydrogen Bond Directed Photocatalytic Hydrodefluorination: Overcoming Electronic Control”

The authors retract this Article following an investigation by Oklahoma State University. Through this investigation, Mohammed B. Khaled, former postdoctoral fellow at Oklahoma State University, was found guilty of research misconduct in the form of data falsification by inappropriately editing NMR spectra published in the Supporting Information. Falsified NMR spectra may directly impact the conclusions of the published work, since removal of peaks arising from byproducts in the chemical synthesis will lead to fallacious claims regarding overall product selectivities and yields. The other coauthors were not implicated in the allegation or findings of the investigation.
