The original article titled “Evaluation of ultrasound-guided erector spinae plane block and oblique subcostal transversus abdominis plane block in laparoscopic cholecystectomy: Randomized, controlled, prospective study” published in Anesthesia: Essays and Researches, on pages 50-56, Issue 1, Volume 13, 2019 [1] , is being retracted because the author found certain ethical concerns which require rectification and resolution. Plagiarism, fabrication, duplication, unethical or redundant publication violates the editorial policy of Anesthesia: Essays and Researches, which follows best practice guidelines given by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) mentioned on the Information for Authors and as codified in the signed statements made by the authors regarding the copyright of their work.
