Henna is a powdered version of a plant known as Lawsonia Alba, which is grown in countries like Pakistan, India, Iran and several others. Its bark and seeds are used in Unani and Ayurvedic medicines.

It has been used by women as a dye to color their hair and used it to decorate the different parts of their bodies such as their hands, and feet, and nails.

People have used henna as a remedy to relieve headaches, migraines, and fever. People claim it has a soothing effect, People have developed allergy to henna and is dangerous to people with G6PD deficiency.
