The article by Futrell, Gibson, and Levy (2020) was published with a few errors in Eqs. 2 and 3. The correct equations are as follows:

$$D_{\mathrm{lc}\mathrm{surprisal}}\left(w_i|C\right)\propto \begin{array}{c}\mathbb{E}\\ r_{i-1}\sim M\left(c\right)\end{array}\left[-\log p\left(w_i|r_{i-1}\right)\right]$$ (3)

On page 31, the equation in the second paragraph is corrected as $\mathrm{pmi}(X;Y)\equiv \log \frac{p(X|Y)}{p(X)}$.
