Lawn clearance experiments with Gp41-247. TYC plates overlaid with TYC top agar (0.5% agar) containing wild-type and various phage resistant mutant strains received 10 μL spots of PBS, different concentrations of Gp41-247, or phage 7-7-1 (107 PFU). Following overnight incubation at 30 °C the plates were assessed for spots of clearance and imaged. The genotypes and resulting phenotypes for each strain are listed in Table 5.
