Volume 77, no. 7, p. 4261–4272, 2003, https://jvi.asm.org/content/77/7/4261.abstract. Page 4267, Fig. 7: The Western blots show expression of two proteins of interest, prothymosin (ProTα) and EBNA3C (E3C). The bottom image represents Ponceau S staining (labeled “Protein”) that seeks to confirm that total protein loading was roughly equal in each lane. A mistake was made in the rightmost “Protein” image. Only eight lanes are displayed rather than the expected nine. Given the age of the article, we have been unable to locate the original images.

We apologize for the inadvertent cropping of the blots that led to a deletion of a lane in the protein loading stain control. It does not have any effect on the conclusions of the manuscript.
