Bioelectricity is buzzing around the world with several scientific meetings planned at a variety of locations! Interestingly, at first sight, most of these appear to be in Europe. Well, one could say that bioelectricity was born in Europe! After all, Luigi Galvani and Alessandro Volta were Italians, Étienne-Jules Marey was French, Rudolf Albert von Kölliker and Heinrich Müller were Germans, Gunnar Svaetichin was Swedish-Finnish and, of course, Alan Hodgkin and Andrew Huxley were English. This tradition is continuing with several international meetings taking place this year. In chronological order:
1. 6th International Winterschool on Bioelectronics (BioEl 2020)
14- 21 March, 2020
Kirchberg in Tirol, Austria
2. Bio-Electrical Engineering (BEE) Innovation Hub - 3rd Workshop
