MiR-155 is upregulated in murine and human macrophages by MAI infection. (A) Mouse BMDM were infected with MAI (MOI:25) for 6 h. Cells were lysed to assess the profiling of miRNAs using the inflammatory response-mScript miRNA PCR array. A heatmap showed that miRNAs expression levels were altered in BMDM after MAI infection for 6 h. (B) Yellow dots indicate increased miRNAs, and blue dots indicate decreased miRNAs (more than twofold). MiR-155 is labelled by the black arrow. (C) BMDM were infected with different MOI for indicated time. Cells were lysed and miR-155 expression level was detected via RT-qPCR. (D) Human monocyte-derived macrophages were infected with MAI (MOI of 25) for indicated time, then lysed to assess the expression level of miR-155.
