In the article by Kaze et al, “Metabolic Dyslipidemia and Cardiovascular Outcomes in Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus: Findings From the Look AHEAD Study,” which published online March 17, 2021, and appeared in the April 6, 2021 issue of the journal (J Am Heart Assoc. 2021;10:e016947. DOI: 10.1161/JAHA.120.016947), a correction was needed.
On page 2, in the Methods section under Study Design, the first sentence is incorrect. The sentence, which read “The data used for the analyses are publicly available through the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute's Biologic Specimen and Data Repository Information Coordination Center (BioLINCC)” has been corrected to read “The data used for the analyses are available upon request through the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) Central Repository.”
The authors regret the error.
