On behalf of the JACEP Open Editorial Board, the Editor in Chief gratefully acknowledges the significant contributions of JACEP Open's corps of peer reviewers. Launching a brand‐new journal is an impressive feat, and we appreciate the dedication of our hard‐working reviewers.
Since our launch on October 2, 2019, our reviewers completed more than 1450 reviews of submissions to the journal. The quality of peer review determines both the quality of our journal and the quality of science in general and is therefore a crucial step in the refinement of scientific knowledge.
