In the originally published version of this manuscript, there was an error in the first author’s forename. ‘Jungh-Hoon Kwon’ was incorrect. The correct spelling is: Jung-Hoon Kwon.

Also, the article title originally listed ‘South Korea’ and has now been replaced with ‘Republic of Korea’ as follows: ‘Genomic epidemiology reveals the reduction of the introduction and spread of SARS-CoV-2 after implementing control strategies in Republic of Korea, 2020.’
