Erratum to “Using yeast two-hybrid system and molecular dynamics simulation to detect venom protein-protein interactions” [Curr. Res. Toxicol. 2 (2021) 1–7]

The authors wish to make the following corrections to this paper (Jia et al., 2021).

The sixth sentence of ABSTRACT should read as follows: “As a result, we identified PLA2s interacting with themselves, and lysine-49 PLA2 (Lys49 PLA2) interacting with venom cysteine-rich secretory protein (CRISP).”

The fifteenth sentence of INTRDUCTION (page1) should read as follows: “To our knowledge, in addition to the reported lysine-49 PLA2 (Lys49 PLA2) homodimer (Almeida et al., 2016; Salvador et al., 2019), aspartic acid-49 PLA2 (Asp49) homodimer (Corrêa et al., 2008) and synergism between Lys49 and Asp49 (Mora-Obando et al., 2014), little is known about the venom protein–protein interactions (PPIs), particularly the non-homologous venom protein interactions.”

The twelfth sentence from the bottom of INTRUDUCTION (page2) should read as follows: “More importantly, Y2H analysis is amenable to a high-throughput setting, allowing a protein of interest to be tested for interactions with many proteins (Galletta and Rusan, 2015).”

The sixth sentence from the bottom of DISCUSSION (page 6) should read as follows: “To fill out this gap, the computational modeling of 3D structure of complexes from their protein sequences plays a central role in structural venom research.”

The errors were introduced during authors writing and journal editing. Authors apologize for any inconvenience caused to the readers by this change. The change does not affect the scientific results. The original version of this manuscript will be updated soon.
