The amendments below were made by the author’s request following the reader’s feedback in the published article.
On page S10, under “Effects of cabin pressure” heading, the sentence “At the maximum permitted cabin altitude of 2,438 m by international regulations, partial pressure of oxygen typically reduces to 93% in healthy individuals.” has been corrected as “At the maximum permitted cabin altitude of 2,438 m by international regulations, the oxygen saturation may reduce to around 93% in healthy individuals.”
On page S10, under “Effects of cabin pressure” heading, a new sentence “However alongside that, it should also be kept in mind that the cabin altitude should be maintained 8,000 feet or less when referring to commercial air travel.” has been included following “If the cabin altitude increases over 10,000 feet, use of supplemental oxygen is advised for all the passengers and cabin crew.”
