Apoptotic effect of GLUD1 siRNA. HepG2 and Human Hepatocytes were transfected with siRNA targeting human GLUD1 (siGLUD1) or control scramble siRNA (C). (A,B) Seventy-two hours later, cell viability was assessed by using Promega CellTiter-Glo® 2.0 Assay. (C) Twenty-four hours after GLUD1 gene silencing, HepG2 cells were assayed for caspase 3/7 and (D) stained with DAPI followed by visualization under fluorescence microscope (magnification 20×). Images in (D) are representative of three independent experiments with similar results.
