Vol. 20, no. 11, p. 4149–4158, 2000. Some of the amino acid residues in the partial SOX9 sequence shown in Fig. 2 were misnumbered due to the erroneous computation of 30 additional residues that were not present in the SOX9 sequence. Thus, “serine 211” should read “serine 181” throughout.
