After the original publication of this manuscript [Li C, Chen Y, Zhao Y et al. Intravenous Injection of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) mRNA Vaccine Can Induce Acute Myopericarditis in Mouse Model. Clin Infect Dis, August 2021. https://doi.org/10.1093/cid/ciab707], it was discovered that Figure 5C on the TUNEL staining for apoptotic changes was mistakenly taken from another group of mice. This does not affect the findings for this manuscript, and a revised figure is available in the version currently online. The statement ‘Serum troponin level was significantly higher in IV group.’ has also been inserted into the Results section of the abstract.
