Following article publication, the authors contacted the journal editorial office to request that the article be retracted due to the mix-up of data between multiple studies. As many projects included test results for the same tumor markers, once the discovery was made, it wasn’t possible to be able to match test results with real samples and therefore the results presented in this article are not reliable.
The Executive Editor of Technology in Cancer Research & Treatment has agreed that this paper should be retracted from the Journal.
