Corrigendum to “Determinants of all-cause in-hospital mortality among patients who presented with COVID-19 to a community teaching hospital in Michigan” [Heliyon 7 (12) (December 2021), Article e08566]

In the original published version of this article, there were minor numerical errors which have now been corrected. Under section “3.1 Demographics (race, age, gender)”, the sentence “The AA group had significantly more female patients than the WH group (53.6% vs. 45.4%, P = 0.021)” has been corrected to “…(53.4% vs. 45.7%, P = 0.021)”.

In Table 1, the Sex-female, n (%) values for "All", "White", and "African American", and BMI n (%) have been updated. In Table 2, values under BMI under 25, n (%), BMI 25 - <30, n (%), BMI 30 - <35, n (%) and BMI ≥35, n (%) have been updated. The correct versions of Tables 1 and 2 can be found below.

The authors apologize for these errors. Both the HTML and PDF versions of the article have been updated to correct the errors.
