RETRACTION

Volume 59, no. 10, e00265-15, 2015, https://doi.org/10.1128/AAC.00265-15. We hereby retract this article published in Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy because of the presence of some errors for sequencing analysis in the published plasmid. We recently reexamined the primary sequence data of pKP12226 and found that the phage P1 region exists in the plasmid, which was confirmed by PCR. However, we identified that there is a mistake in the gene direction of a region including blaCTX-M-15. In addition, we discovered that some sequences (17 to 18 kb) were included in the sequences of pKP12226 by mixing with the raw data of the other plasmids. These two points were unintentional and not mentioned in the paper. We revised the sequences of plasmid pKP12226 in the GenBank database (GenBank accession no. KP453775) and apologize to the readers and regret any inconvenience that this causes.
