There were significant concerns about the analysis included in the original research article, Pooled Analysis of Roxadustat for Anemia in Patients With Kidney Failure Incident to Dialysis; Provenzano R., Fishbane, S., Szczech, L., et al. Kidney Int Rep. 2021;6:613–623, including deviations from the proposed analytic plan that were only identified after publication, which were discussed in this Commentary. As a result, both the original research article and this Commentary have been retracted.
