Risk of death among patients with and without a disability who were admitted to hospital with COVID-19. We adjusted all models for hospital site as a fixed effect. Model 1 was further adjusted for age, sex and residence in a long-term care facility. Model 2 was further adjusted for medical comorbidity, dementia and psychiatric disorders. Model 3 was further adjusted for predicted risk of death at presentation to hospital. Model 4 was further adjusted for neighbourhood-level income and proportions of patients who identified as a visible minority. Note: CI = confidence interval, RR = relative risk.
