The reference for each hazard ratio was the outcome in the unvaccinated group at corresponding ages. The 95% confidence intervals (dotted lines) are based on 10,000 predictions from the model using bootstrapped samples of the corresponding age-specific outcome counts. The spline for documented SARs-CoV-2 infection was adjusted by testing rate at baseline.
