Iranian J Publ Health, Vol. 41, No.2, Feb 2012, pp.15-26

A duplicate publication concern has been raised for the article by Hong et al. entitled “Relationship between serum aminotransferase levels and metabolic disorders in northern China” (Turk J Gastroenterol. 2012;23(6):699-707). The Editorial Board of the journal conducted a thorough investigation following COPE guidelines. The results of the investigation showed that the article was identical to the article previously published in 2012 in the Iranian Journal of Public Health. Thus, the article in question has been retracted from publication in the Turkish Journal of Gastroenterology by the decision of the editorial board of the journal since it is a duplicate publication.
