We thank Khatri et al for highlighting that Figures 1 and 3 both had an error in the range of the weightbearing area. The weightbearing area should be defined as the area lateral to the mid-vertical line of the line through the acetabular edge and the teardrop bottom. However, the range of the weightbearing area was narrow and was not accurate.
The authors have also updated Reference 13. This was previously published as: Sugano N, Kubo T, Takaoka K, et al. Diagnostic criteria for non-traumatic osteonecrosis of the femoral head.
