In the article by Hosokawa et al in the July 2020 issue of Journal of Hand Surgery Global Online (“Relationship Between Hand Dominance and Treatment Outcomes for Distal Radius Fractures in the Elderly in the Short-Term”, Vol 2, No. 4, p 212–216), an error was introduced during production. On page 212, 8 months appeared in the original published article but should have been 3 months, as shown in the corrected text below:
Arora et al8 reported that up to 3 months after treatment, the Disabilities of the Arm, Shoulder, and Hand (DASH) and Patient-Rated Wrist Evaluation values and grip strength were better in cases of operative treatment, whereas the range of motion (ROM) and pain score did not differ markedly between operative and conservative treatment.
The publisher regrets the error described here, which has since been corrected in the published article online.
