We present the case of a 73-year-old man with a history of high blood pressure who was admitted to the ICU-A for bilateral COVID-19 pneumonia. He presented daily anemia despite the transfusion of blood products. He was being treated with low-molecular-weight heparin at anticoagulant doses. The abdominopelvic CT scan showed an increase in size and heterogeneity of the density of the left iliac psoas related with a hematoma, as well as a smaller one in the contralateral psoas (Fig. 1 ).
