Abstract

HectoSTAR µLED Optoelectrodes

The cover shows an illustrative image of multi‐region neural recording and optogenetic manipulation with high spatio‐temporal resolution in the brain. In article number 2105414, György Buzsáki, Antonio Fernández‐Ruiz, Euisik Yoon, and co‐workers design HectoSTAR µLED optoelectrodes with 256 recording sites and 128 micro‐LEDs (bottom). Using this device in behaving mice, they investigate long‐distance network interactions across cortical layers and hippocampal regions.
