Retraction notice to “Preclinical assessment of transplantable human nasal mucosal epithelial cell sheets” [Regenerative Therapy 18 (2021) 59–65]

This article has been retracted at the request of the corresponding author due to the following scientific errors:

1. The cell sheet subjected to paraffin-embedded sectioning and stained with HE in Figure 4B: This study is a cold-run study (pre-clinical study), not clinical study. However, this HE stained cell sheet photograph is that used in the clinical study.

2. Figure 3D: This study is a cold-run study (pre-clinical study), not clinical study. However, this phase contrast micrograph is that used in the human clinical study.

3. Line 6 of 2.3: Fig. 1A should be Fig. 2A.

4. Line 4 of 2.4: Streptomycin concentration: 69 μM is correct.
