Dear Editor, we would like to share ideas on the publication “Persistent COVID-19 symptoms at least one month after diagnosis: A national survey [1]”. Post-acute COVID-19 syndrome (PACS) symptoms are common after obtaining COVID-19 disease, according to Tleyjeh et al., and certain risk variables could indicate a delayed restoration to baseline health condition [1]. We agree that there may be a post-COVID problem, and that long-term COVID is currently a global medical concern. COVID-19 has a wide spectrum of clinical manifestations, ranging from asymptomatic to fatal clinical issues [2]. The presence of long-COVID-19 could also be linked to COVID-19's major symptom. Furthermore, not every clinical condition is the result of COVID-19 recovery. Although the current survey may reveal a rough prevalence, it is vital to filter out clinical problems caused by other medical issues. For instance, the chance of contracting another significant common disease, like influenza, still persists in a post-COVID-19 case, and it is still required to take preventative measures against other significant infections among post-COVID-19 individuals [3]. AS a conclusion, other medical conditions may impede the clinical manifestation. The regression analysis of going back to the pre-COVID condition was also mentioned in the current study. Some pre-COVID-19 health issues may have been mildly symptomatic or inaudible, and because the patient did not express any worry, it was not documented. The questionnaire approach may be used to collect data and may be suitable in this situation, but the questionnaire is primarily dependent on subjective rather than objective evaluation. If it is feasible, inclusion criteria might be established in the subsequent study to only accept cases with pre-COVID-19 health information for further evaluation of the symptomatology, which could provide more conclusive information.
