Silencing GPx8 in BxPC-3 cells enhances sensitivity to radiation treatment. (A) Representative Western blot confirming GPx8 silencing in BxPC-3 cells. BxPC-3 cells were transiently transfected with either si-Scramble or si-GPx8 for 48 h. Densitometric analysis revealed a significant reduction in GPx8 expression (* p = 0.0434) in si-GPx8 cells compared to si-Scramble cells.
