The article titled “Enhanced autophagy promotes the clearance of Pseudomonas aeruginosa in diabetic rats with wounds” (1) published in the Vol 8, No 21 issue of Annals of Translational Medicine unfortunately contains errors of repeated images in Figures 1, 7, 9 and S4.
The corrected figures are included as below with the updated images marked with red ※ or *. The authors confirm that these mistakes will not affect the results of the study.
The Figure 1 is corrected with five images (Day 0, DM + P. aeruginosa ∆ pcrV; Day 0, N + uninfected; Day 3, N + uninfected; Day 0, N + P. aeruginosa; Day 0, N + P. aeruginosa ∆ pcrV) marked with ※replaced.
Figure 7 is corrected with six images (Day 0 DM + P. aeruginosa + rapamycin; Day 0 N + P. aeruginosa; Day 0 N + P. aeruginosa+ rapamycin; Day 0 DM + P. aeruginosa + gentamicin; Day 0 N + P. aeruginosa + gentamicin; Day 14 N + P. aeruginosa+ gentamicin) marked with * replaced.
Figure 9 is corrected with two images (Day 0, DM + P. aeruginosa + gentamicin; Day 0, N + P. aeruginosa + gentamicin) marked with * replaced.
Figure S4 is corrected with two images (Day 0 DM + P. aeruginosa + gentamicin; Day 0, N + P. aeruginosa + gentamicin) marked with * replaced.
