Correction: Fractional Excretion of Sodium (FENa): An Imperfect Tool for a Flawed Question

PMCID: PMC9435987  PMID: 35878934

Seethapathy H, Fenves AZ: Fractional excretion of sodium (FENa): An imperfect tool for a flawed question. Clin J Am Soc Nephrol 17: 777–778, 2022.

Due to an author error, the sentence that appears as “An individual on an average Western diet who takes in approximately 3.4 g of sodium (∼150 mEq) per day has a FENa of <0.1% when getting rid of that sodium load considering a normal eGFR of 180 L/d (27,000 mEq of Na filtered).” should instead appear as “An individual on an average Western diet who takes in approximately 3.4 g of sodium (∼150 mEq) per day has a FENa of <1% when getting rid of that sodium load considering a normal eGFR of 180 L/d (27,000 mEq of Na filtered).”
