Correction for Sutter et al., Hypoxia-inducible factor 1α protein expression is controlled by oxygen-regulated ubiquitination that is disrupted by deletions and missense mutations

PMCID: PMC9499512  PMID: 36053737

Genetics Correction for “Hypoxia-inducible factor 1α protein expression is controlled by oxygen-regulated ubiquitination that is disrupted by deletions and missense mutations,” by Carrie Hayes Sutter, Erik Laughner, and Gregg L. Semenza, which was first published April 11, 2000; 10.1073/pnas.080072497 (Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. U.S.A. 97, 4748–4753).

The authors note that: “During figure preparation, several extraneous lanes were cut out of the lower immunoblot image in Figure 7C (designated ‘Ubi-HIF-1α’). We regret that the processing of the image was not clearly shown and stated in the figure and legend, respectively. Fortunately, we have been able to locate the original data demonstrating that all four lanes shown in Figure 7C are derived from the same unprocessed blot (see below).”
