Abstract
The fall of 2022 approaches with the need to finalize our plans for next year. This is urgent for the 2023 Meeting of the Padua Days of Muscle and Mobility Medicine, (PDM3) to be held March 29 to April 1, 2023 at the Hotel Petrarca in the Thermae of Euganean Hills (Padua), Italy, but there are also news related to the inclusion of the European Journal of Translational Myology (EJTM) in the Web of Science: Emerging Sources Citation Index – Clarivate (ESCI) database. A preliminary PDM3 flyer is almost ready with session program, organzers and keynote speakers. Some are the traditional organizers of the PDM3 sessions dedicated to molecular and cellular myology, but there will also be interesting new entries, including those of Rehabilitation Sessions. No doubt that PDM3 2023 will be a great gift for all Participants, as is the tradition of PDM3. The other big news scheduled for June 2023 is the Impact Factor 2022 that Clarivate will release next year. It could be a big or small gift. As Authors who publish in other Magazines, but even more as Referees we could contribute in the next months of 2022 to make a small gift from Clarivate bigger. In any case, it will be a great gift that has been awaited for many years for one of us, who is approaching 80 years of age next February 2023.

Ethical Publication Statement
We confirm that we have read the Journal’s position on issues involved in ethical publication and affirm that this report is consistent with those guidelines.
The Autumn of 2022 is approaching, increasing the need to finalize our plans for next year. This is urgent for the 2023 Padua Days of Muscle and Mobility Medicine (PDM3) to be held On-Site from 29 March to 1 April 2023 at the Hotel Petrarca in the Thermae of Euganean Hills (Padua), Italy. A preliminary PDM3 flyer is almost ready with the list of Sessions. Organizers and keynote speakers. Some are traditional organizers of On-Site PDM3 sessions dedicated to molecular and cellular myology, but there will also be interesting new entries, including organizers of Rehabilitation and Thermalism.
To-date Sessions of the 2023 On-Site PDM3 (sequence and lengths are NOT final) will accomodate talks of 20 min for Senior Speakers and of 15 min for Junior Speakers. Eventually a LECTURE will be held every day.
WEDNESDAY March 29, 2023 – Afternoon:
Session 1. Epigenetics of Skeletal Muscle - Piera Smeriglio, Christiaan Leeuwenburgh, Organizers (two hours = six or seven speakers);
Session 2. LNC-RNA - Rosanna Piccirillo, Jorge Ruas, Organizers (two hours = six or seven speakers). The role of microRNA in muscle wasting will also be discussed in this session.
THURSDAY March 30, 2023: Session 3. Genetic Muscle Diseases - H. Lee Sweeney, Organizer (Morning: four hours = 2 x six or seven speakers) + (Afternoon: four hours = 2 x six or seven speakers).
FRIDAY March 31, 2023: Session 4. Senescence & Rejuvenation - Christiaan Leewenburgh, Organizer (Morning: Two hours = six or seven speakers);
Session 5. Muscle Fascia, biology and pathology - Carla Stecco, Helmut Kern - Organizers (Morning: two hours = six or seven speakers);
Session 6. Non-invasive Assessments in Myology - Ugo Carraro, Paolo Gargiulo, Organizers (Afternoon: two hours = six or seven speakers);
Session 7. Muscle Rehabilitation in Dentistry - Riccardo Rosati, Elena P. Ivanova - Organizers (two hours = six or seven speakers).
SATURDAY April 1, 2023. Session 8. European Thermalism and FEMTEC – Marcus Coplin, Stefano Masiero- Organizers (Morning: four hours = 2 x six or seven speakers) + (Afternoon: four hours = 2 x six or seven speakers).
Session’s contents will be related to the use of Balneotherapy, Hydrothermal therapy, and integrative physiotherapy in treatment of Fibromyalgia and ME/CFS. The session will review mechanisms of action pertinent to the rational use of hydrothermal and balenologic interventions in the integrative treatment of complex multisystem presentations of Fibromyalgia and ME/CFS. Case reports, literature reviews, mechanism of action studies, and proposals for future research are welcome. As usual,1-12 organization and program of PDM3 are costitutively flexible and we will find solutions to accommodate further proposals. There is no doubt that 2023 On-Site PDM3 will be a great gift to all attendees.
The second eventual small or large gift is for the authors of EJTM. Indeed, there is good news related to the fact that for several years EJTM has been included in theWeb of Science: Emerging Sources Citation Index – Clarivate (ESCI) database: Clarivate will release the 2022 EJTM Impact Factor next June 2023.
It could be a big, small or no gift. As authors who publish in other journals, but even more as referees, you could contribute in the next months of 2022 to make a possible small gift from Clarivate bigger.
In any case it will be a great gift for one of us who, turning 80 next February 2023, has been waiting for it for too many years.
