Correction for Sugiyama et al., Retrograde sulfur flow from glucosinolates to cysteine in Arabidopsis thaliana

PMCID: PMC9674232  PMID: 36322792

Plant Biology Correction for “Retrograde sulfur flow from glucosinolates to cysteine in Arabidopsis thaliana,” by Ryosuke Sugiyama, Rui Li, Ayuko Kuwahara, Ryo Nakabayashi, Naoyuki Sotta, Tetsuya Mori, Takehiro Ito, Naoko Ohkama-Ohtsu, Toru Fujiwara, Kazuki Saito, Ryohei Thomas Nakano, Pawel Bednarek, and Masami Yokota Hirai, which published May 25, 2021; https://doi.org/10.1073/pnas.2017890118 (Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. U.S.A. 118, e2017890118).

The authors note that on page 10, left column, second full paragraph, line 4, “tgg5 (SALK_114084C)” should instead appear as “tgg5 (SALK_013785C).” The online version has been corrected.

The authors also note that Supporting Table 4 in the SI Appendix appeared incorrectly: “SALK_114084-LP” should instead appear as “SALK_013785-LP” and “SALK_114084-RP” should instead appear as “SALK_013785-RP.” The SI Appendix has been corrected online.

The authors state: “We maintained two lines of the tgg5 mutant (SALK_114084C and SALK_013785C). The tgg4 tgg5 double-knockout mutant presented in Fig. 5E was prepared using SALK_013785C, whereas we accidentally wrote a wrong accession number (SALK_114084C) in the manuscript. Primer sequences are correct.” Authors assert that the error does not affect the findings.

The authors note that the primary email for corresponding author Ryosuke Sugiyama has changed to rsugiyama@chiba-u.jp. The corrected correspondence footnote appears below. The online version has been corrected.
