In the article by Suzuki et al, “Age‐Dependent Relationship of Hypertension Subtypes With Incident Heart Failure” which published online April 27, 2022 (J Am Heart Assoc. 2022;11:e025406. DOI: 10.1161/JAHA.121.025406) and was included in the May 3, 2022 issue of the journal, a correction was needed.
Due to typesetting error, on page 10, line 30‐32, the term “diastolic blood pressure” was incorrectly abbreviated as “DBB.” The sentence read: “Furthermore, IDH tends to be disregarded because the prognostic influence of DBB is thought to be lower than that of SBP.” It has now been corrected to read “Furthermore, IDH tends to be disregarded because the prognostic influence of DBP is thought to be lower than that of SBP.”
The publisher regrets the error.
