My daughter Rita has Down syndrome and over the course of the pandemic has developed new skills in watercolour painting, mostly during virtual art classes. A book of her art was recently published by Second Story Press, to teach kids about inclusion through Rita's art. The book is called, My Art, My World.1
The painting is of a young nurse, inspired by a family member who is a Registered Nurse and is in the process of completing her nurse practitioner training. It is a watercolour painting with ink details
